BOTOX® & Dysport

BOTOX® is derived from the toxin Botulinum A. In a very dilute concentration, it has the ability to prevent the facial expression muscles from contracting. As a result, wrinkles often seen with facial expressions are eliminated. The most common sites injected are the crow’s feet, the forehead, and the area in between the eyes. A stinging sensation is often felt with the injection; otherwise, there is minimal discomfort. The effects of BOTOX can be seen within 5 to 7 days and last for 3 to 5 months.

BOTOX® Cosmetic is FDA approved for the temporary treatment of moderate to severe frown lines between the brows in people ages 18-65. Side effects associated with BOTOX are minimal, however, anyone who is pregnant, nursing, or experiencing any neurological diseases or symptoms should avoid the use of BOTOX.

BOTOX® price per unit $14.00
The average BOTOX® treatment site requires 28 to 32 units and varies per patient. This pricing applies to touch-ups as well.

FILLERS

What Are Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers are an aesthetic injectable designed to reduce facial wrinkles or creases, lift and contour, and/or restore volume loss. Dermal fillers may use hyaluronic acid, collagen, synthetic materials, and autologous fillers, which use substances found elsewhere in the body, such as fat or blood. We offer a variety of dermal fillers that we will discuss at the initial consultation.

We offer these fillers:

  • Juvederm

  • Radiesse

  • Sculptra

  • Restylane

  • Kybella

What Areas Are Dermal Fillers Used In?

Dermal fillers are used in several different areas of the face to reduce lines and wrinkles, increase volume in cheeks and hands, contouring the face and body, reducing dark eye circles, fill in tiny smile lines surrounding the mouth and improve nasolabial folds. Other dermal fillers are available to reverse the signs of aging. We are happy to discuss the best-customized treatment plan for you.

Are Dermal Fillers the Same As Botox?

No. Botox and dermal fillers are both injectables, but Botox is usually injected around the forehead and eye area to stop muscle movement that forms wrinkles. Dermal fillers are used to plump, smooth, and restore the area. A patient is able to combine both Botox and dermal fillers for the most youthful appearance.

How Soon Will Results Be Seen?

Dermal filler results are instant. The injections take just a few minutes and the volume increase will be seen as soon as the injections are complete. There may be some mild swelling after the injections, but this will usually abate within a day or two.
